andy

It's gotta be Poncho. He even looks like him.

Rick

Clive.

jessica

I agree with ANDY, in honor of the great little pooch from Paul Gilligan's "Pooch Cafe" you should name him Poncho. Just hope he doesn't give you near the grief that the cartoon character creates!!!

Cecers

Well naming one's dog is best done after one sees it. It isn't like naming a child exactly. My suggestion for the adorable 'perrito' ('little dog' in Spanish) would be Fido. I can't have a dog but if I could I'd name it Fido, or rather the esoteric 'Phideaux--just in case you run into any 'dog snobs' along the way. They'll be really impressed. Enjoy your little Peri.

gwm

Fido? Seriously? Show some creativity.

peterd

Hey GWM, lay off man. Fido is a classic name.

Marie

I don't know why, but he looks very much like Hydro to me...
Then again, he could be something like Windmill, Spin or Coffee. But I just like unusual names... :>
Our dog is called Spinning Top and it grew to it's name.

limeion

You should call him el chupacabra

Bob

Buster.

This is what I have read:
C [said: Sea] is a favorable sound
easily heard by dogs

the sound of "S" is Negative
it is too like the hiss of a snake.

Make a list of words you won't mind yelling in public
speak those to your dog and watch for the smile

It took me a while with one of ours
the name that finally made her smile was "Sherrie"

One more thing, there is a 'vibratory rate' for each letter
if you want to know the "color of the name" you do chose
I will write it out for you, just ask: annette143@myway.com
example:
S = success and attainment it is represented as 21
E = Law / Religion it's number is 5
A = the Will / Dexterity it is number 1
added they make 27 2+7 = 9 as the key

*taken from The Sacred Tarot by C.C.Zain
things associated with the number 9:
the sign Aquarius, lighter blue, blue saphire
it's deeper meaning is Wisdom / Prudence / Circumspection
* more on the influence of changing the name in the book

huh

Go ... Go sounds like a great name for a dog ... "Go have food?" "Go fetch my slippers" "Go poop outside..."

huh

ps. haha is not my e-mail address.

Ray V.

Go with something clasical, old school, like "Mugsy"

Rob

"My future Chihuahua is arriving in about a week, so please comment with your ideas. I appreciate it!"

Is it arriving in installments or all together?

Nick

How about Flash? ;)

R Pyle

Oh please, Flash is the only logical choice.

I offer this rule for naming your dog (cat, child, whatever)...

Go to the back door.
Open door.
Scream name out back door at least five times.
If it sounds goofy, consider other names.

Yugo

I think Cisco (as in 'The Cisco Kid') or based on the background of the picture, maybe Chef.

angie

weird. I was thinking Cisco at one point.

Ian Zoltai

I say you name him Salt N. Pepper. He is colored just like salt and pepper. That or Poncho. Seriously, looks just like him.

Bob Tenaglio

Wee Juan

b-ad dog

Will all your friends and neighbors have to watch a Flash animation before they can pet your dog?

carrie
