Here's a story of democracy in action. The Los Angeles Times dropped the Hispanic-themed comic strip La Cucaracha on March 5th. Fans of the strip immediately made their voices heard by sending a flood of emails to the editors of the Times.
It worked.
On March 7th, La Cucaracha was back. Creator Lalo Alcaraz celebrated his strip's return to the Times by posting the image below on his website.
