Maturity, humility and selflessness are wonderful things. Unfortunately, they don't really make for great comedy. Self-centeredness? Really funny.
Tony Murphy's new daily comic strip, It's All About You, is all about the self-centered patrons of a local cafe and the barista who serves as their coffee counter therapist.

This is some pretty good stuff. I like the most recent couple of weeks best, maybe because the first and second were sort of exposition.

I always read the strip when it was in the NYC free daily for 2 years. I like the strip-- and those thick, bold lines make for easy reading in the paper, which shrinks strips down mercilessly. The other poster is entitled to her opinion, but the lettering is perfectly legible and its unique look fits the style of the strip.

I miss this sooo much. It was the only thing I looked forward to every morning on the Boston Metro. Then one day, it was all gone :( My life has been boring as hell since then.
