I have greatly appreciated your column. It paralleled our lives in many ways. Your values, morals, duty and commitment are to be embraced by all in order to have a full and happy life. Thank you for sharing. I do hope you will, after a very enjoyable retreat, resume your sharing of your life and perspective with us. Many thanks, David.

When I read for Better or for Worse the creator made it sound like the strip is ending I hope not for there is more the creator could do I have truly enjoyed this strip. Do not stay in the past forever, for I have a mom that does often, show us the struggles this family will have. A faithful fan and as Bob Hope used to sing thanks for the memory's.

What a great run as

I have lovedthe strip since the first day many years back.. I do hope you are not gone for long. There is so much more to tell! Pleae don't leave us hanging.. You probably need a rest, so take some time and then come on back to us with fresh new sagas..

Thanks,

annie

I'm so sad to learn that the currant story lines will not be continuing. Anthony and Elizabeth have only JUST gotten married. They've been abandoned at the alter, in a manner of speaking.

They would be having their first child, a son. What are the events occurring with them, from the day they married untill their baby's birth. How many more children would they have ?

The same is true for all of the other major characters. we,ve been told how things would evolve,to a point, but no way of knowing the events and day-to-day issues of life play out in the interval between Anthony and Elizabeth's wedding day, up to the events of the future.

The past has PASSED. Elizabeth and Michael were cute little kids. But they are now ADULTS. The present "reruns". are boring to me. They don't, and can't answer the questions of how the continuing sagas play out. I am seriously pondering whether or not I want to continue reading the strip. I feel as though I have been left dangling from a cliff over a deep ravine.

I'm glad you're continuing the strip, but please consider returning it to the present. I know it's natural to remember the "olden days" once you've passed another milestone in life, but that was one of the things that made your strip great - it faced the passing of time just like it's readers did.

You're still a wonderful artist, and the old times were great, but life goes on. Please don't leave your family in a state of virtual dementia. The future can be scary, and family members will continue to pass no matter how important and loved they are. Your readers will still respect you once the time comes for your story to end or to be passed to a new generation. If you want to remember the past every once in a while, that's fine, but please allow your family and readers to continue facing the future together.
