Here's a prototype animation we did for the In the Sticks last year. I think it came out pretty well ... lip synching was off a little and some sound effects and music might have helped deliver the punch line better. The flag whips too quickly too ...though perhaps a hurricane was approaching.

* Can you guess the voice actor, brother of a Hollywood bigshot?

Pretty good. Better than some of the pan and scan ones I've seen. I sounds like Brian Doyle Murray.

I like this animation alot and I think Nathan's artwork has improved immensely. The flag doesn't bother me at all. And I like the shifting from panel to panel, which maintains the comic strip feel. Well done to those involved!

I was hoping Mark forgot about my previously horrible artwork.

Anything you can do to keep this thing from playing automatically when you load the page?

Oh no, :( terrible voice for a bird. No bad reflection on the actor, but I would not watch the show if the bird had a deep, gravelly voice. I really do enjoy reading the strip.
