I watched HBO's "Bored to Death" last night ... and regrettably, by the end, the title seemed apropos. Though the reviews I've read have said that the pilot is the weak link and to keep watching.
What I was delighted to find out is that in the show, Zach G. plays a cartoonist ... possibly a Web cartoonist, possibly comic books. I don't think he could play a syndicated cartoonist because he's not attractive enough.

What a great night of TV -- Curb and Mad Men were both incredible.
Haven't watched Bored yet.

Yeah, Mad Men ... didn't see that coming. Do you think Guy will get a severance package? (apologies to Phil Dunlap ... stole that from an Ink Pen.)
Did you notice the Barbie was wrapped in the comics' page? Yet when the daughter opened the present it almost looked like comics' page wrapping paper , not a real comics page.
Couldn't make out any of the comics either.

And only Larry David will be able to get away with an entire season of cancer jokes. It's good to be the king.

Just saw this last night, I didn't think it was too bad--I'll give another chance, just for seeing Zach being a struggling cartoonist!
