Thanks for sharing this, John. That third line in paragraph three is a timely gem, as was your inaugural address on Webcomics.com ... I'm not J/K either.

When you receive a form rejection from a syndicate, one can always pretend that the editors didn't actually review your submission because they were too busy getting their ears waxed.

But when you receive a well-considered, personal rejection note, you know that they DID take a good look ... And you're left feeling like George Costanza after swimming.

Time to dive back into that pool of submissions!
