Eek! Here we go, my very first blog post for Laugh Tracks...
I'm having some regrets about dinner last night -- I had a BLT (minus the T, plus avocado). It's not in my normal wheelhouse, but it was pretty yummy ... until I got into work this morning. When I started poking around GoComics, I kept noticing sad pigs. How did they know?
Two of our newer comics, Berger & Wyse and Viivi & Wagner, must have been working from the same brain wave Aug. 6.
And there's no pig sadder than Pig from Pearls Before Swine, poor little guy. This particular strip has been up in my cube since it ran in 2008. You have to appreciate his honesty, I guess.
Be sure to check out Berger & Wyse and Viivi & Wagner on a regular basis. B&W, a food cartoon featured in The Guardian, has beautiful art and lots of puns; V&W, an extremely popular Finnish cartoon, is quirky and smart. And they both have ampersands in their names -- always a good idea!
