GoComics Weekend Staff Faves (Aug. 19 - 20)

Many times, less is more. Red and Rover epitomizes the "dog days of summer" without words. Man, that dog loves his boy.

There's nothing better than when comic strips talk about the comics. Unfortunately, Nate and Artur have hit upon an all-too-common occurrence -- the shrinking comics page. Lots of papers reduce the width of the page to save money, which means that comics have to get lots smaller to look right. There is a simple way to make sure you're seeing your favorite comics the way the artists intended them: read them on GoComics.com. Wow, that was a TOTALLY shameless plug.

All office workers know what it’s like to be on a time crunch to meet deadlines, to finish work early, to meet family needs or to increase job performance. There are dozens of reasons why people opt out of taking lunch, to instead eat at their desk while working. Dave Whamond, of Reality Check, is talking to all of us. Be careful this week because those crumbs are pretty tough to get out of keyboards –- even the ultra-sleek Mac ones.
