Lio is known for taking shots across the bow at other features on the comics page, from kidnapping Blondie (as a gift for his father) to literally lobbing grenades at Marmaduke (OK, so that was actually the cat). But this past week we got to see Lio amid more imaginative kindred spirits such as Jules Verne, E.B. White and H.G. Wells.
You see, on Monday, Lio got a library card. And just in time for National Library Card Sign Up Month! (which as Lindsay already reminded us is International Literacy Month as well).
