Mail slots! I wanted a mail slot so badly when I was younger. Is that weird? Maybe. I even begged my parents to replace our glass door with a "regular" door, so we could later install a mail slot. It seems like all my friends' homes had doors with mail slots, and I thought they were the coolest thing ever, because you could slide mail through and it'd instantly be in your house! Whoa! Secretly, I really wanted to do things like Dill in this Sunday's Cul de Sac. I recall a couple instances in my childhood when my friends and I went out in their neighborhoods (I grew up in the country, so this was extra fun for me), picked flowers and slid them through OTHER people's mail slots; we thought we were being nice. Sometimes we even wrote sweet notes to the people living in the house. No, we didn't know them. And, yes, I guess that’s weird. Man, I'm really going to miss this strip. Thanks, Cul de Sac, for frequently reminding me of my own childhood.

Haha!!! I see nothing weird about coveting thy neighbors' mail slots.
The only weird thing (to me at least) would be a door with a mail slot AND a doggie door.
As for Cul de Sac, I'm still in denial.
