Soup to Nutz has done it again. It has taken a scene directly from my household growing up. Sibling scuffles have been known to start over lesser situations than the control of the remote.
Royboy leaves to get a snack, is reprimanded and placed in time out -- giving Andrew the go-ahead to change the channel. What Rick Stromoski leaves out of the comic’s storyline is the part where Royboy comes back and a battle royal for both the remote control and sibling domination begins. As a younger sibling, I feel for Andrew. Older brothers are the worst. They are bigger, stronger and tougher.
Stromoski, in the next strip of the sequence, cuts to after the fight and the return to normal.
Oh, the joys of sibling love -- one minute arch enemies and the next friends. How many of you have sibling rivalry stories? Share with us by commenting below.
