Smart cookie idea in Heart of the City this week. Every Christmas, my dad would convince my brothers and me that Santa was probably tired of cookies of milk by the time he got to our house. We left him chips and beer instead.

Seeing these giant inflatable Christmas decorations must be especially impressive from a baby's standpoint. My 8-month-old is pretty fascinated with them, I've noticed whenever we walk by similar displays. And Thattababy makes a good point — those inflatable Santa's aren't cheap, so maybe the economy is in better shape than we thought.
