The holiday season is my favorite time of the year. I love the lights, the tasty treats, the cold weather, the fireplace fires and the time with family. The comics are the icing on the holiday fruitcake, for me.
Close to Home and The Flying McCoys shed light and humor on the season and its stresses. Calvin and Hobbes, For Better or For Worse, FoxTrot and Red and Rover lightheartedly bring family life and a sense of nostalgia into their comic storylines.
I can’t seem to get enough of these comics or this time of year. Here are a few of my favorites.
For all you pinners out there, GoComics recently created a fabulous Holiday Comics Pinterest board, to spread the holiday spirit with comics. Check it out and pin your favorites!
Did you know that you can create comic collections of your own on GoComics? You have the ability to share your favorite comics with all GoComics.com visitors. Take a look at my holiday collection and then create your own.
