I’ve mentioned before that I get a kick out of pop culture
appearing in comic strips. But even more than that, I love when comic
characters venture into other comic strips. I’m accustomed to seeing certain
characters in their own comic world, surrounded by the respective cartoonists’
unique artwork and style, so it’s always unexpected when characters show up in
a different box. We call it “White-hot crossover action” around here.

can’t read comics! You’re a comic!” I want to say.
