Throughout the past couple of weeks, the temperatures here in Kansas City, Mo., have definitely dropped, and fall weather is here. I shiver as I walk out my door for work in the mornings (forgetting my coat, of course), but at the same time, the leaves are so pretty, it’s hard to curse the weather.
Although my favorite season is, without a doubt, summer, fall comes in second. The cool temperatures remind me of days spent at home, cozy under a blanket, eating my mom’s chili.
After a particularly shiver-inducing day last week, I was inspired to cook up some fall favorites. I knew just the place to find recipes.
Featuring Chef Ken and Clover the Cartoonist, Kitchen Capers brings a little extra fun to cooking. Next time I get the itch to cook, I’d like to give this recipe a try:
Updated weekly, Cheap Thrills Cuisine tells stories with great artistry about love and preparation of food. These quesadilla wedges would be perfect for football Sundays. (Go Chiefs!)
