Gosh, I know I'm not the demographic that may be the potentially offended party, but this Argyle Sweater seems pretty innocuous to me.
Offended person: "It's offensive because he's comparing rabbis to rabies, saying that rabbis are an unwanted disease in dogs."
JG: "Ok. Well, I read it as just a silly play on words. I know Scott and I know there's no ulterior motive or subtext here. And doesn't that rabbi up by the dog's head look hysterical? "
Offended person: "Hee hee. Yes, he does. He looks like he's riding the dog like a horse. Thanks, JG, I'm glad we had this talk."
JG: Me too.
See? Sometimes I think people'e first reaction is to think the worst and see things that aren't there. I hope we can all calmly and respectively have these types of conversations in the future. But ... just to let you all know, if anyone tries to make fun of the Irish, you'll be hearing from my lawyers.
